(JOL) has a long practice of empowering and encouraging many people by sharing knowledge and creating educationally empowering activities that enrich the lives of low-income individuals (women, children, youth, homeless individuals, and marginalized families) in the community.

Our Mission: To bridge the gaps of unmet basic needs (food, clothing, life essentials, and resources) for Baltimore/Howard County's most economically disadvantaged women and children.
OUR GOAL
To connect women and children with resources that help them achieve self-sufficiency and use their power to strive for success.
Our work empowers women and children as they become self-sufficient in their own lives by providing them with wrap-around services (Empowering and Enrichment Workshops, Dress for Success Clothes Closet, Educational/Career Training, Support Groups, One-On-One Counseling, Financial Coaching, Blessing Bags for the Homeless and Holiday Angels, and more) for every step in their journey to success.
